Drop down with Unknown Sources has disappeared from the App Library in Quest 2

Hi,

The Quest 2 App Library no longer has the top right dropdown menu and I can no longer get to Unknown Sources. The App Library now only has a single app listing panel.

When the headset was set up a month or so ago, the dropdown was present and I could get to Unknown Sources. It seems to have changed in the last 48 hours

Also, in Settings / Systems - the Software Update option along with some other options have also disappeared.

Can someone tell me what has happened?

Note that I have done the following to trouble shoot:

  • Rebooted the headset numerous times
  • Factory reset the headset / re-set it up / etc
  • Made sure Developer Mode is turned on

If someone knows what the solution here is, please help. Thanks in advance.

Already been discussed quite a few times now.  The workaround for now is once you call up the app panel click on the search button and you’ll see all your old filtering options.

Yup, same here. Lets see if meta fixes that, or if their making a crackdown on software piracy.

They actually made it pretty easy to upload stuff to the oculus store, so if you have something you want to build for it, you might as well upload it to the dev center.

Could please tell us what headset update you're currently on? Could you also send us a screenshot of what you in your App Library drop down menu?

Now as you can see, the dropdown menu is completely missing.

Howdy @Taivas! Are you enrolled in the PTC? I cant speak for certain about v55, but I do know the engineering team made some changes to the layout for App Library in v54. Since you're noticing this on v55, I definitely think you should submit a bug report so the team can look into this further!
