Earbuds stop passing though sound when connecting to an audio call

Hey, 

My earbuds (both Apple Airpods pro and sony earbuds) stay connected but essentially stop functioning as the sound is thrown back to the headset when connecting to an audio call in the quest 3. It happened with a few games, like Dungeons of Eternity and Eleven, it happens outside of games as well.

Previous replies about similar issues on the quest are EXETREMELY unhelpful. Find a solution please.

Hello, @WildKozak! We understand that using different audio devices can really add to your comfort during your VR experiences. We would be happy to look into this further.

First, please let us know if this is a new problem you’re experiencing, or if you have always had issues with Bluetooth devices during calls?
Next, please review the following suggested troubleshooting steps and give them a try. If anything changes, let us know:

  • Restart the Headset: Turn off your headset and leave it off for 5-10 minutes. Then turn it back on.
  • Unpair all Bluetooth devices from your headset. Restart the headset, then add them back and test again.
  • Ensure that your Bluetooth devices are not paired with any other devices.
  • Consider a Factory Reset: If the problem persists, keep in mind that this will erase all settings and configurations.

If this issue is still happening when it did not happen before, please Report a Problem on Meta Quest.
