There is a pop up that continues to come up that states "Social Platform Keeps Stopping" and gives 2 selection options, "App Info" or "Close App". Both choices just bring the screen pop-up back up, not allowing any form of closing or system access. Please help.

I am also having this issue. The "Social Platform Keeps Stopping" comes up on screen and within 10 seconds it restarts and the cycle keeps going. We're using the Meta Quest 2. Our software version is 228.0.0.5.90. I am not sure of my headset version and don't think I can check. I was getting notices for the past month or so saying I needed to update, but when I tried it wouldn't let me. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Im having a problem too. Im still confused, if I factory reset how to I get my progress back on games?

EDIT: Hey everyone, I'm really eager in trying to get this into the hands of the right people to get this resolved but to make things go a bit quicker I recommend everyone to make bug reports so the right people can see it and reach out to the support team through tickets.
This way they can get to working on it even quicker!

I am getting a message that says “Social platform keeps stopping” and continuously restarts itself. I looked online and did what was most suggested to do, which was logout of meta quest on my phone then power off the headset. Did that and it did nothing. Has anyone experienced this and what is the solution? I’m trying to refrain from doing the factory reset if possible.

Its already mentioned but Socialplatform keeps crashing for no reason, Im using an Oculus/Meta Quest 2, I don't know, and I don't know either. And I don't know what the PTC version is, Sorry.

man im also having this issue some people are saying to restart the router, maybe do that? if it works please tell me asap!!!

No you don't restart your router. You factory reset your quest2.. hold down the minus volume and power button until it goes blue then using the volume down button for to factory reset and use power button to select. Once it is done all data is saved to cloud you just down load the games you want.. BUT you must go to setting and type in cloud turn on the save data to cloud because if not when it happens again you'll lose data. The headsets come with this already turned on so you lose nothing. I've done a factory reset twice now everything has been perfect. Lost nothing. Don't worry you'll sort it by following this just do not forget to turn that setting back on !!!
