Ethernet not connected

Ethernet is still not working to connect.

Your GPU, CPU and RAM are bigger problems.

And HDMI cables don't also contain Ethernet. How is the laptop/docking station connected to the internet? Not that it'll matter in the end with that GPU.

That's why you are getting the ethernet error, then. You need ethernet between your laptop (or docking station in your case) and the wifi access point you are using for the headset. If your laptop is connected by wifi, your VR bandwidth will be halved and your latency doubled.

Does your cable go from the laptop to the docking station, or from the docking station to your internet router?

The laptop to my docking station.

That's why you are getting the ethernet error, then. You need ethernet between your laptop (or docking station in your case) and the wifi access point you are using for the headset. If your laptop is connected by wifi, your VR bandwidth will be halved and your latency doubled.
