Hello!
My Quest 3 headset in use since Dec '23. I've always used external batt pack to extend onboard battery life and play time. It has never failed, ever, to discharge a full batt pack by 25% (ex: 90 mins of golf+) while the headset batt discharges only by a little more than 5%... Obviously allowing for hours of play until the onboard batt takes the load.
However - After the recent, "automatic" update to the June 3rd, 2025 update to v77 - this is no longer the case!
I have three batt packs and three cables. With no apps running I connected each pack with each cable to confirm connectivity from all. Immediately for each the quick settings battery icon shows the thunderbolt to indicate charging. What's changed, what is wrong, is nearly none of the batt pack(s) power is used at all and the internal battery continues to drain as though nothing is connected to it at all - even though the charging lightening bolt icon remains visible.
PLEASE tell me there's a fix for this. This headset no longer functions as I need it to, the way I have been for the last 18 months. Help.
Thanks, Mike
