Extreme latency issues/brightness

Alright so rift was working brilliantly last night while I was playing Elite Dangerous. Packed it away like I always do neatly and in its provided case. Bringing it out today to use with my Cyber Kids Club kids, I noticed it had some serious updating issues with it updating the image slowly on the rift but the monitor was showing the unity demo going at 80 fps. Now the colors are dark and it takes a good minute+ to update the rift screen with very visible burn in in the background. Tried different cables, moved from the usb 3 to the usb 2, changed hdmi cable all to no avail. What are my options? Just received the rift in late February and it's seen very limited and supervised usage as well as zero modifications to the actual device, not even the googly eyes we had planned for it 😛

Unfortunately, this is what is called a "haunted" Rift. There is no fix. Contact support and we can see about getting you a replacement. Hope that helps.
