My FB was hacked on 1/16/25. I did the whole report suspicious activity and FB said yes the email was changed, yes a phone number was added etc ‘but we see no suspicious activity’. My friends kept reporting it and on 1/17/25 it was suspended. Of course it asked me to verify a credit card that expired 11 years ago. Somehow on 2/7/15 I got an email saying my appeal had been reviewed and my account was reinstated. I was allowed to reset the password, remove any unknown phone numbers and emails. Everything was going good. I had not posted anything, only commented on a few posts and suddenly on 2/16/25 I get an email saying I violated community standards on fraud and deception. I am not allowed another appeal although I didn’t get to appeal this time.
I can not get any help at all from anyone. It had an option to chat but said it was a long wait and to try again in an hour well now that option is gone.
im beginning to think FB or META has an issue. I was in the process of verifying my account when this happened the second time. This is getting to be ridiculous.
