While trying to better calibrate my face tracking, I had turned it on and off again. After turning it back on, the facial tracking would no longer work (tested in vrchat) though the eye calibration was working, actual tracking was not. My attempts to fix it include:
Restarting my pc twice
Restarting the headset
Factory reset on the headset
Recalibrating eye tracking
and trying to look for help in here via others questions. Which proved useless since most of those that had the same problem as me were just told to pm support. I don't have any more ideas on what to do

Yeah I've been having the same issue. I have a quest pro I used for about a year and a half, no issues. As soon as the meta horizons OS version came out, it started getting flakey. now with 74.1024 and greater, the face and eye tracking flakes out exactly as you describe. Testing eye calibration works fine, but it doesn't work in the home world at the avatar mirror. Face tracking will work poorly. Turn off face tracking and the eye tracking sorta works, but still works poorly.
I thought to myself "I guess I must have damaged it with sweat or something" and so I had a BRAND NEW quest pro, ordered from Meta when they hard discontinued the supply, new in box. Opened it up, worked great until I forgot to pause the update and it updated itself to 74.1024. Suddenly started messing up. Exact same issue. I didn't even have a chance to sweat in it. Tried updating to the various 76 and 77 versions, including PTC. nothing fixes it. Reset the headset a few times. no dice.
So I have a THIRD quest pro I got from another source that was mostly new with an older OS. Loaded it up. it's fine. So basically I just disconnect the WIFI at the end of the day.
As far as I can tell, whatever they messed up in 76.x physically damages the face tracking on the quest pro. Meta's incompetence has now bricked 2 of my $1000 headsets and probably are going to brick a 3rd or make it unusable.
