Facebook Account Hacked and Locked

Yesterday my Facebook account was hacked and they changed my password. I was unable to get back in. I let as many friends as possible know to report my account as being hacked since the person who took over my account was trying to sell my friends Taylor Swift tickets. Many did, so I'm guessing the Facebook algorithm saw all the reports and kicked the person out. I was able to get in this morning and change my password.

The hacker added their email address to my Facebook account while they had access to it. I've been working on removing it in Meta, but I keep getting a message from Meta that "You can't make this change at the moment. This is because you are using a device you don't usually use and we need to keep your account safe. We'll allow you to make this change after you've used this device for a while." Which I don't quite understand since I'm using a laptop I've had for 2 years.

Since I am unable to delete that email address, the hacker was able to get back in today because they were able to get a two-factor authentication code to that email to change my password again. Thankfully, because of the previous activity yesterday, Facebook locked the account. 

I am in the process of removing that email from my Meta account as well as unlocking my Facebook account and having no success. I'm never going to have full control of my Facebook account until that email is removed. Please help!
