My Facebook account was hacked sometime ago. I couldn’t retrieve it and spent months of headaches going through support through every platform possible. I’m basically creating this wondering if there’s still a small bit of hope I can recover my account/games or if I was just screwed out of the hundreds of dollars spent on games through Rift S and Quest 2 and just basically have to start over.
Hey there, @Retro-Dave! Trying to recover an old account can be a lot of trouble in some cases, but we would love to work with you to try to get back into the account if possible. One thing major to not is Oculus account support ended at the beginning of last year, so locating those accounts can be hard to do, but we can try to do so over a private message. Once we get a private message we can work with you to try to locate some information and see if its possible to locate and recover the account, but please be aware of the limitations of these accounts no longer being supported and it is possible this may not be able to be recovered. I am afraid they can't, or won't. Sent me a default message saying to check Facebook help pages. Of course, that didn't help at all, and two months later, I consider my account lost forever, even though I could easily prove my ownership if only they told me who to address.
Hey why don't you help me as well instead of giving the same default response that you can't manage Facebook accounts!? Or perhaps now you can! I am still trying to recover my hacked Facebook account so any help (other than useless Facebook help pages) would be great. A working link to submit ID's, a support email address, anything!
