WELL, EXACTLY THE SAME THING HAS HAPPENED TO ME. A meta account was linked to my "account center" along with my personal facebook, instagram and business accounts. I managed to delete instagram and other accounts, but my facebook is trapped. It's impossible to separate them because it asks me to access the meta account of my cautious hacker friend.
Meanwhile, the wonderful system of interconnected accounts allows you to access my poor Facebook from the Meta. The hacker has already tried to launch several ads and on Instagram he began to follow thousands of people from other continents.
Solutions such as reporting suspicious activity, changing passwords, activating two-step verification or using the Facebook and Instagram help system are useless.
The main problem is in the meta account associated with my facebook, as long as they do not separate the accounts, all my information will continue to be compromised. And before they ask, no, there's no option to report something like that

I am in exactly the same boat and had to sign up with a different account to send the message. Appreciate it if you could help please ?
I agree that this interconnected system of accounts is just making us more vulnerable. What's more, it seems the default in Facebook is to allow shared logins across these platforms - I certainly don't recall opting into it.
