I have managed to reset my password on Facebook after it being hacked, but they have added their own Meta account to my Facebook. I can’t remove it, as I don’t know their password and I can’t reset it as it wants to send code to their email address. I also can’t log them out of my Facebook on pc’s in 2 locations as it wants a Meta password. HELP! . They are using my credit card and PayPal
Guys, if your Facebook account has been compromised you need to get in touch with Facebook Support! Meta support won't be able to help if the hacker has added 2FA, but Facebook will be able to investigate for you. Good luck! 🍒
The same thing is happening to me and I don't know what to do. I had to create a meta account to respond to this but before I had this happen to me I didn't even know this platform existed. I don't know what to do since I can't delete their account of my Facebook. Can someone help me?
Thanks however this was a meta account that was falsely created in my name and then attached to my Facebook account but it is a meta account that was created. You guys can't help with that? Even know it's a meta account? Can I not submit that account is fake fraudulent meta account?
The same thing is happening to me. my Facebook was hacked and a fraudulent meta account was attached to it. I can't Tetris of it because don't know their password and 2FA and I can't log out of THEIR pc's for the same reason. As of right now I'm completely locked out of my Facebook, the meta account has all my private information and Facebook and meta will dod NOTHING to help. I'm also instagram verified and can't get help that way. I'm confused why meta responded to this first post seemingly like they can help and know are just referring us back to the ludicrous Facebook "help" page. I also had to create this meta account just to try to find help here, I didn't even know if existed.
I'm also keen to know - having the same issue but with my instagram account - been trying to get this resolved for over a month now. There's nothing wrong with my instagram or Facebook account, have full access. It's just that someone has used my instagram to create a Meta Account and I can't remove my instagram or their meta as the confirmation code to do so is sent to their email address. Absolutely see this as a 'Meta Account' issue - seperate from Instagram or Facebook.
