My brother got a new oculus and gave his old one to me. I created an account and tried to pair it, but it said the admin account was deleted and I had to factory reset it. I tried through the app, but since the oculus isn’t paired to his phone anymore it doesn’t work. Then, I tried pressing the volume down and power, but it won’t come up with the correct screen, just the end screen. I tried to do it through the web, but when I entered serial number it said it wasn’t linked to a device? PLEASE HELP

You have to power off the Quest, before pressing the volume down and the power button in order to perform a factory reset.
Have you done that?
