I wrote tech support & there was nothing they could do. It was a week before Christmas 2021 & I was about to have surgery, so I made sure I updated all games that needed updating. I was hoping during the Christmas weekend I would be able to play. A few days before Christmas I powered the quest 2 up & it showed a few games. needing an update but there was one called big screen beta that had automatically started updating. Actually it said installing.
After an hr that night it was still saying the same thing & this was after restarting a couple times.I couldn't play because all the games I usually play needed updating as well. I did read a blog post about Big screen Beta doing a big update. A couple days later, it's still doing the same thing. It's Christmas & there's nobody that I can talk with so. We all had just got a new feature by oculus that included cloud storage. I made sure that it was still on & it was. I read the blog announcement about cloud storage & I made the decision that to fix my problem & to play my games during the holidays, I could reset the headset & reinstall my games & everything would be back to normal as long as I didn't include the Big screen beta. I lost all my saved progress on all games except poker stars. I lost a Lot of gameplay hrs & lost my leader board scores on beat saber & zombieland. 65 +days on Saints and sinners including the latest add on. I was on my second round of resident evil 4 on pro. Lost that! So many more. Unbelievable! So how do I know if cloud storage via the quest is even working now?

Similar problem here. Tech support told me to reset my Quest 2 back to factory settings. I verified that Cloud Backup was turned on. After the reset, I had to reinstall all the games I had and game progress was not restored. I can't find any instructions on how to pull game data down from the cloud for individual games. I have never had cloud backup to be so mysterious in decades of using computers.
