Family Center and App Sharing

I've not been able to find an answer that clearly explains this.

I primarily play on my quest 3, but I've signed in my account as the admin account on my quest 2 and enabled app sharing.  I've also added my daughter and son as an account each both on the device and in Family Center.  My account requires a password to access.  When turning on the quest it requires my password to log in BEFORE I'm able to change accounts.  This means when my kids want to play, I have to be available to log in.  Is there a way to change settings to allow them to change profile or log in without my needing to log in first?

If I simply remove the requirement for a pattern or password, then the kids would be able to enter my account and play any app they want, making any family center controls meaningless and essentially making the device one which has NO parental controls.

This seems like a terrible user design.  Can you imagine having to sign the admin account in every time any user account needs to be used on a Mac or PC?  Why wouldn't each account have its own permissions and its own login?

Alternatively, is it possible to share access to apps without my account being the admin? Since they are in the same household and are my dependents and controlled through Family Center it would make sense to be able to share with them the same way a physical copy of a game disk could be shared.

I've been going crazy trying to figure this out. Glad to know I'm not the only one. Having to put my passcode in every time my kids want to switch to their profile on the headset is ridiculous. Horrible oversight. Following this thread to see if there are any workarounds.
