Faulty Touch Controller - Return/replacement procedure

I have had my Rift for 6 days, and the right hand trigger has just broken. I'm not a 'heavy handed' user, and so far I've been watching the free demos, or using games that do not involve the touch controllers, and I am being very gentle with my new toy. But after just fifteen minutes of Robo Recall, the button has gone soft and is almost completely unusable. If I press one exact spot on the very edge of the button I can make it work but of course that is no use.

I bought the Rift & Touch bundle from Argos, who are very good about returns, but I do not want to return my entire Rift package as I am very pleased with my headset (I already had to replace my first one after a few days due to a faulty lens, but this one works well and I do not want to risk getting another bad one).

So will I be able to return ONLY the faulty controller to Oculus for repair or replacement?

I must say, considering how robust an xbox controller is, this does not show the Touch controllers to be very well made at all, or maybe I was just unlucky?

Go to oculus home page and open a support ticket and you should be helped from there.

Update: I must say, although I was disappointed the controller broke so easily, I was extremely impressed with the Support department. They responded promptly and efficiently, took me through the process and soon arranged a replacement. In all, it took not much over 24hrs to get a return organised, 5 days to return it (from UK to Netherlands), and only another 2 days to get a new one, back in time for Christmas.

But I hope they review the design as it seems to be a common fault in the trigger. Let's face it, if you buy an xbox controller, you can use it and hammer it forever and they very rarely break, so these controllers should be a bit more robust.

Anyway, I got a new one quickly and the service was excellent, thanks Oculus.

I've had my oculus quest for around 6 months and I've recently put a large crack in the right controller that severed the D12 part inside which affects the tracking of my controller basically making any game that requires both controllers unplayable I don't have much money so I can't buy a new one so I'm just stuck if it's even fixable or not?
