My problem is that, using the Quest 3 to fly in X-Plane, which is 99% of my use of VR (I never had this with Quest 2), I can't help but notice, out of the corner of my eye that many objects are continually disappearing, just for a fraction of a second before reappearing, as I move my head. It happens at the extreme edge of the pancake lens, where there is the very narrow margin of 'blurred/grainy' texture, a fraction before you go beyond the range of what is visible in the headset. It is, oddly, always on the right side, never on the left.
It is very distracting, being right in the zone where your eyes are most sensitive to movement! Does anyone know why this might be happening and (of course!) how to prevent it?
Meta support are usually really good (I have found), but they just say that they don't support X-Plane, and no one on X-Plane forums has been able to suggest what the problem is, let alone a fix.
Posting here in the vague hope the some 'super hero' might know what could be done - probably someone who knows X-Plane (not all objects are affected, so...). Is there a setting somewhere I can change, maybe to prevent my seeing that very last part of the lateral view? I tried tinkering with the FOV in ODT, but I don't like having a black band either side. I don't in any case think that that is the right way to go.
Nothing I have tried, in respect of changing graphics setting (Oculus app or ODT, or within X-Plane) has affected this issue in the slightest.
Thanks for any help you can offer.. the problem is really spoiling my enjoyment of VR!

Ok, I was mistakenly decreasing the horizontal FOV (in the Oculus Debug Tool): if I set it to 1.2 (less than that doesn't help much), the problem is still not entirely absent, but (albeit after only a few tests so far) seems vastly reduced. I do get an fps hit of course.... No such thing as a free lunch!!
