How can I reset my Oculus? It keeps asking for the pattern and I don’t remember it. Is there any way around this??

Hiya! We couldn't help but notice you're having some trouble with your unlock pattern.
We'd be more than happy to provide an answer to this, since you forgot your pattern and this is a security feature used to keep others away from your headset, we would need to factory reset the headset. Below you can find the steps needed to do so,
Keep in mind all data will be deleted but can be restored by signing back into your account. Thanks to the Oculus Cloud Backup feature most of your data will be restored after the reset. When it prompts you for your pattern, underneath it should say something along the lines of "Forgot Pattern?" if you click itI'm pretty sure it lets you reset your pattern. I am not 100% sure if thats how that works however as I have not needed to use it myself. (This is on Quest 2 btw).

We know how this can hinder your gaming experience as you are unable to use your headset. We want to do everything we can to get you back up and running and have found some steps to lend a hand. We see you stated that your headset is not connected to the internet, in order for you to be able to get your headset back up and running you will first need to factory reset your device.
Once the reset is done, you will then go through the set-up process once again; however, you will need to be connected to the internet to do so. If you have any further questions feel free to reach back out.
