Forgot pattern, factory reset headset and now I can't pair with the app

so recently i got back into playing vr games and i tried to log in to my headset it said wrong pin but i knew it was the same one Ive been using for over a year. i press forgot pin and it said i had to reset by oculus headset to reset the pin. now Ive realized that i had to unpair the headset before i did it but when i factory reset it it didn't know that it says its paired in the app but i use the headset and its giving me a pairing code. i tried pairing it again ind its not working please help

Running into headset troubles is never something we want for our device owners, and we'd be happy to assist. To make sure we're on the same page, after factory resetting your headset, it's stuck on providing a pairing code even though it's shown as paired in the app? We'd also like to ask, which Meta Quest device are you using?

Sorry I couldn't respond I don't usually check my email but to answer your question I'm using the meta quest 2

Hi again, I have another problem. I was laying down and accidentaly kicked my cup of water over and the water was near my controller and unfortunately it got soaked. I put it in a bag of rice for about 12 hours and when I trie to power it on it blinks blue then stops blinking also it's the right controller. 

 

Hey again @SparrowVr.YT! If you are experiencing a blinking light, we recommend trying to unpair and re-pair the controller through your Meta Quest App. If you have any other issues, please don't hesitate to reach out!
