Friend can buy games for cheaper?

Me and my friend live relatively close in the UK, which completely throws the region problem out the way.

The other day my friend tried to gift me "Thrill Of The Fight" which costed around £5.99. However, for me it costed £7.99?

Just a few minutes from now me and my friend found another game, "Homesports", that looked interesting on the store, and to my surprise it was £9.99 for him and it was £15.99 for me?

When he tried to gift me the other day it also came up with this error, im not sure if this could be linked with whats going on, but any help to tell me whats going on would be reasurring.

in my country "The thrill of the fight" is rated 18+.....I don't know, how it is rated in UK, but if you don't have the correct age, you won't be able to receive the gift.🙁

About the price....some randomly selected users will receive a discount. The users who receive these discounts can switch.

thanks for notifying as i am under 18 so im guessing that is the problem. However, i dont understand, people just get a discount randomly? isnt that just unfair?

Maybe next time you'll get the discount and your friend won't...

...... but I completely understand you, I'm not a fan of this practice either.🙄
