My friend referred me to the Quest 2 but I didn't know when to click the link for it. I thought it would be like a code I could enter after I set up the device and all that but I was wrong and now I can't get me or him the credit. I just activated it a couple hours ago so I was hoping support could let me put in the referral retroactively.

I opened up a ticket to try and solve it. Unfortunately me and my friend live in different countries so the referral wasn't valid.

That's a bummer. My friend and I live in the same country, so hopefully Oculus Support can fix it.

Support seemed very willing to add the referral credit retroactively up until the point where they saw we live in different countries so I would have high hopes for you and your friend to get it. Goodluck!
