Friends headset bugged

My friends quest 2 headset for some reason allows him to play games completely normally, however the store, horizon feed, and socials don't load at all, meaning he can't call us, update his games, or get new games. I would highly appreciate if someone could help us! Also on an added note, not too big of a problem though, his right controller's tracking messes up alot even though he plays in a well lit environment with no sunlight, and cleaned it thoroughly. He does hit it alot though so it could be the case that he disconnected something inside the controller itself.

Hey there!

 

We understand your friend's headset has been having an number of issues.

Can you ask him to attempt a Hard reboot of his headset:

  1. Hold down the power button and volume down button for 30 seconds until you hear the boot-up sound
  2. If the boot-up sound is not heard:
    1. Hold the power and volume (-) button down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
    2. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight "Boot Device" and press the power button.
    3. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.

If the issue is persisting, it would be very helpful if he could contact us directly via private message so we can investigate this further.

Yeah sorry he tried the method but they didn't work. He is now unable to update apps, but his headset software is fully up to date. Many apps like horizon feed and store etc still won't load. He is however able to play rec room with us.

Its completely fine! For some reason it just suddenly fixed itself when he got on just now. Thanks for the help anyway!
