Hello, i was hoping to find a solution to my problem, my friend bought a oculus quest 2 a few months ago but never was given a referal code, i own an oculus quest 2 and was already given a referal code, but i dont think that affects me giving him my code. We factory reset his oculus and tried removing the device from his account but we cant seem to get the referal code to work. would love to find a way for use both to have the referal work!
As your friend had already set up an account and has linked the device to his account, they would not qualify for the referral program as per the last sentence " Promotional Quest cash can only be applied once to an account with a newly activated Meta Quest device." Because the Quest was linked to the account a few months ago, this wouldn't meet the mark.
Unfortunately, without a referral we couldn't add the credits to the account. We know this is not the response you will be looking for but we hope you and your friend can still have a great time on VR and continue making memories!

i believe we meet all the conditions, he bought it new from Walmart, its not refurbished. He has a new meta account (bought and activated his quest 2 a few months ago) and hasn't use a referral code yet. Is it too late for him to get a referral code? Is there no way for an unreffered oculus to get credits later on?
