GTX 1080 not boosting in VR

I've tried several games and it seems not to move past 1607Mhz in game, I've tried Project CARS maxed out, ADR1FT, Farlands, Apollo 11, Ethan Carter VR.

I have some images of my GPU usage and settings in-game here - http://imgur.com/a/MxPHO

Has anyone else experienced this or know of a fix? I've tried forcing a constant voltage in MSI Afterburner but that didn't really make a difference.

I've just seen that taking off the headset while in-game results in the boost kicking it, it went from 1607Mhz all the way up to 2010Mhz giving a huge boost in performance, but once you put the headset on again, it drops right back down to the 1607Mhz base clock.

I've posted about the same thing, nothing I can do changes it! Tried pretty much everything so far. Messing with power states does nothing

Oculus needs to do something about it not you. It's their software that's causing it.

I seen there wasn't any real answers given so I thought I'd make a new thread to see if it could bring more attention to the subject.

@ScaryPunkGhost - It's the lastest Nvidia that causing it. Just reinstall the old Nvidia 368.39 driver and it works fine. I tested this and that's what I found.
