GTX 1660 Wont run Oculus Rift

Hi All.

Firstly i trolled the forums but cannot find this question asked, so if it has and been answered i apologise.

Ive been running an AMD R9 390 graphics card in my PC, and was using my Rift with it with no issues.

That Card finally died a few months ago, and i have replaced it with a GTX 1660 Ventus XS OC 6Gb today after saving for several months to get a new GPU.

When i open the Oculus software, it tells me "Oculus has detected a problem with your graphics divers.  Learn More."

When i click on Learn More, it opens another Error window where it says there is an issue with my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660. Learn More.

Clicking on that Learn more takes me to an Oculs website of
"Im Having Trouble Launching Dash"

And it then goes on to say that i dont have the latest Vulcan Compatible graphics drivers installed etc etc.  Dash uses the Vulkan API etc etc. Try uninstalling and reinstalling your drivers.

So, i confirmed I have the latest Drivers for my graphics Card.  I have Version 441.08 Released Oct 29, 2019 Installed in DCH Version.  I did remove and re install to confirm.
Same Issue.
I have removed and Re installed the Oculus Software.
Same Issue.
I have done a complete re installation of Windows 10 Pro using the above Geforce drivers version.
Same Issue

So does anyone know of a way to get this to work, or am i now destined to be without a usable rift for a year or so until i can save for yet another GPU??

Contact support and use live chat, maybe they haven't updated their compatibility for the 1660 yet ???
A PC with lots of gadgets inside and a thing to see in 3D that you put on your head.

Have you tried using older drivers? I had to backtrack to drivers from earlier this year for my 1060 lag issues.

So Issue seems to be solved.  The Tech Support chat got my logs, and then got me to make a few Registry changes to NVIDIA Strings, and presto, its working.  @Techy111 is correct, they havent updated their compatability, and this is the current work around.  Thanks for the help guys!!

HELP
I'm having the same issue. How can I solve it?
I've been installing drivers, and checking specs for FOUR HOURS.
I don'[t even know if my computer has a dedicated graphics card port. the head set light isn't even turning on.
my PC recognizes it as a device, but the oculus website still doesn't detect the connections. NOT EVEN THE USB 3!
I'm desperate, SEND HELP.

I still have this issue, can you let us know what registry settings you used?
