Tried to use an EXPLORE25 code Meta was kind enough to send me to purchase Puzzling Places. Game was not on sale but was part of a package deal that was on sale so the transaction brought up an error and was cancelled. This is seems to be a common problem with game discount codes not working.
I checked my credit card and the game charge was pending and today has now been fully processed. On my Meta account the game purchase says it was cancelled. I received no email confirmation of the purchase.
Spent an hour and a half talking to online Meta support but the guy could not understand what my issue was and kept asking me for the receipt of purchase, which I do not have. I gave him the reference on the charge from my credit card but he said that he could not help and told me that it was an issue with my credit card. One of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with a support agent that had little to know knowledge of how to help me.
Can anyone please advise me what I can do and how I can get the charge refunded or the game added to my account? I really want to play Puzzling Places.

I tried talking to online support again....bad idea. I don't want to be mean about some of your support team but the guy I asked to help me today could barely type a coherent response. I have now figured out how to email your support team and have sent them evidence of the charge. However, if any of the support team here could help me that would be wonderful. I don't want to have to purchase Puzzling Places twice.

Thank you for the private message. Unfortunately who ever sent it did not investigate the issue at all. There is a charge from Oculus Digital on my credit card for the very same amount at the very same time as my Puzzling Places transaction failed and said "something went wrong". I have sent the reference number of the charge and I would like you to refund it or at least explain what the charge is for? This is incredibly frustrating.

Just a warning to anyone buying a game from Meta: Be very careful as if something goes wrong and you end up being charged the WRONG amount or don't receive the game at all, the support team I have spoken to have NO way of tracking the charge that appears on your credit card or account, even when provided with a screenshot of the processed charge and Oculus reference number. They actually advise you to go back to your bank and get them to do a charge back/reversal.

Your team have already told me that they can't help me. You've lost a big Meta fan with this terrible experience.
