Game purchased on previous headset won't load on replacement

I had to return my old Meta Quest 2 due to a hardware issue. The new Quest 2 set up easily and works just fine, EXCEPT that one of my previously purchased games won't load/open.

The game (Walkabout Mini Golf) appears to be downloaded, but when it should be opening I get a black screen with the 'I'm working on it' bubble.

I've uninstalled, rebooted the device, reinstalled -- can't get this resolved on my own.

Possibly unrelated, but might be worth noting, I can't see a way to delete the old device from my account; I purchased the game on the old device.

We understand that your Quest 2 was recently replaced, so with that in mind, we're eager to get you back to your games and apps ASAP so you don't have to miss out on all that VR has to offer any longer! To help us better understand why you may be receiving this error message, we kindly ask that you answer the following questions:

  • Does this issue only occur while playing Walkabout Mini Golf, or does it happen with all of your purchased games and apps?
  • Is your Quest 2 operating on the most current software?
  • Have you been able to use any of the games or apps you purchased before setting up your new Quest 2?

We'd also appreciate it if you could provide screenshots of the error message you are receiving.

The issue only occurs with the one game, walkabout mini golf

The headset is updated with the current operating system

There are no issues with any other games or functionality of the headset

As mentioned previously, we have rebooted and restarted the headset several times, and attempted to uninstall and reinstall the game as well.
