After downloading Elite Dangerous (16Gb) the install would give me an error saying it couldn't finish and to contact oculus support. I uninstalled the game and re-installed, but same issue came up at the end when it wants to install some 3rd party software.
Looking at the log, I see this:

[Error] [26-Mar-18 8:52:05 PM] Error requesting elevated work from OAF: 'Sorry, something went wrong. Please uninstall the application and install again.: 1971021'
If i go to the folder shown above and run the OVRServer_x64.exe, i get a few errors connecting and then it crashes. It says to uninstall the application and install it again, but what do i need to uninstall? I cant find any program called OVR, do i need to uninstall Oculus Home?
Hey, I tried installing them all yesterday after I saw you link to that post to a few ppl. The majority installed fine but the last ones failed as they said i had a newer version already installed. I got no anti-virus running at the time either but still wont finish installing the game.
