The Oculus Quest 2 we have had for 2 years has decided it doesn't want to boot up anymore and would like to go through an infinite loop of the Meta logo. This appears to be an issue many have experienced sadly. After not being contacted by Meta after scheduling a callback, and trying everything under the sun to fix the headset. I have bought a new headset from a mutual an Oculus Rift S. None of my games appear in the Oculus app. Same account and everything logged in however taking a quick look online it appears that games bought on different headsets through the Oculus store are version specific??. Is this true? those same games are compatible with the RIFT S and are available for purchase through the Oculus app. Too much money has been spent. How do I get my purchased games on my Rift S Oculus App?

The Rift and Quest have two different libraries.
The Rift library is for PC apps, the Quest library is for Android apps.
It's impossible for a Rift-S to play the Quest version of a game (wrong OS, wrong CPU, wrong GPU). It's also impossible for a Quest to play Rift-S games natively (same reason, just too different. BUT, using Link (usb cable) or Airlink (wifi) you can connect a Quest to a PC and play the Rift library (the game plays on the PC and streams the video to the Quest 2).
Some games are "cross buy". This means if you buy one version (such as Quest) you get a free copy from the other store (such as Rift). They won't appear automatically, you need to go into the Rift store and buy the game again, but it will be listed as Free.
Other games (most notably Beat Saber) aren't cross buy. You have to buy them twice at full price.
Then there's also games that don't have two versions at all, they are limited to one platform.
