Hey there, @DaKingJP! Based on the specs you provided us, your PC should meet the requirements to use Meta Quest Link. Please click here to read the requirements and confirm that you have met them.

To gain a better understanding of why you're receiving a notification about your computer not meeting the minimum requirements, we kindly ask that you answer the following questions:

  • Have you ever been able to connect your device to this PC via a Link cable or Air Link before?
  • When did you start receiving this notification that doesn't meet the minimum requirements?
    • What else changed when receiving this notification that doesn't meet the minimum requirements?
      • Did any of the devices (phone, headset, or PC) receive any updates?
  • What type of cable are you using?
    • Included USB Charging Cable
    • Meta Quest Link Cable
    • 3rd party retail cable
  • Are you connecting your Meta Quest Link cable to a USB 3 port?
    • Is an adapter or cable extender being used?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to do so. We're looking forward to hearing back from you!

  • Have you ever been able to connect your device to this PC via a Link cable or Air Link before? Use link cable as the air link seems laggy.
  • When did you start receiving this notification that doesn't meet the minimum requirements? Around the 22nd June
    • What else changed when receiving this notification that doesn't meet the minimum requirements? Moved location not sure if Oculus had a update or anything.
      • Did any of the devices (phone, headset, or PC) receive any updates? Don't think so not sure.
  • What type of cable are you using?
    • 3rd party owned retail cable
  • Are you connecting your Meta Quest Link cable to a USB 3 port? Yes
    • Is an adapter or cable extender being used? No

Hey @DaKingJP, thanks for taking the time to reply here! Is the error message stopping you from using PCVR? This can pop up if certain components do not meet the requirements, but often the link will still work. Have you tried playing any games despite the message?

This can also pop up due to out of date device drivers. Are all of your system drivers up to date, especially GPU drivers?

Yes I can still play games on it alone but not anything to do with pc. I've tried playing games and performance has worsened for some reason have to turn all settings down and still doesn't function as before. All drivers are up to date too
