Getting bloom, lens flare on quest 3s

VenomousCrown

I just bought a quest 3s 4 days ago , i clean the lenses every day with microfiber cloth and iso propyl alcohol some times . However the lenses was looking kinda blur today so I used one more ipa spray. When I put on my headset i got an unusual lens flare like God rays and bloom around objects in high contrast or vibrant objects . Well I just got to know that ipa isn't a thing to apply on these lenses but can I know is my lenses are normal or I am cooked 💀

Hi there!

This is normal in these devices due to the type of lenses used.

Although we would not recommend using isopropyl alcohol a lot when cleaning, just using a dry cloth daily would be enough to keep these clean!

Over cleaning these with chemicals can cause damage.

Although from your pictures it seems the lenses are fine, and these types of effects such as the bloom is normal!
