I'll make my story as short as possible.
As of recent, I purchased Ghosts of Tabor for Quest 3.
After putting under 10hrs. in the game, I chose to purchase the "Starter Pack DLC" through the Meta store.
Unexpectedly, the DLC did not work. Nothing in the game "changed".
Hopped on the Meta forums and found the "Re: Ghosts of Tabor DLC Not Working".
As stated in the forum, the Meta store and in-game store crossover feature is broken.
So, I bit the bullet and purchased the "Independence DLC Pack" in the in-game store.
Unsurprisingly, nothing changed again. The DLC had no effect.
I'm beginning to wonder if the "DLC Packs" only work if your game is in a "new" state.
Like a standard game wipe or a forced reset will make the DLCs kick in.
IDK
Thanks

The feature isn't broken. The DLCs are not part of the cross buy feature of the game.
Ther are two Meta stores....one for Quest (standalone) games ant another for PCVR games.
Ghosts of Tabor is cross buy, but the pc version of the game does not offer DLCs in the store. You have to buy the addons within the game.
For the Quest version you can buy them in the store and they should work, if you play the game standalone.
Do you play the game linked to pc or standalone with the Quest?

Thank you for the reply,
I believe I have unintentionally created some confusion...
The full game was purchased within the Quest's 3 Meta store. Then played for approx. 7hours.
The first "starter" DLC was purchased in the headset's Meta store also. This did not work.
The second "Independence" DLC was purchased through the game's internal store. This also did not work.
I have the game on Steam also.
I specifically purchased the game for the standalone Quest 3 headset.
No wireless linking, cables, or PCs are being used.
Hopefully this clears things up.
thanks

Yes, it does......thank you!
Normally DLCs are not refundable.....but it's not your fault that they are not working and you can't use them.

Hey @BACKALLEYBUDDY,
are your DLC items available in the trade room at the kiosk? For me the DLC items were located here and needed to be delivered.
You can confirm the dlc is in effect by going to the Tabor Market in game and taking to the merchant of Death, there you should see the dlc weapons available for purchase (in case you lose in raid). The Independence Day weapons won’t be available until the 8th when the game launches.
