My child got a quest 2 for Christmas 2.5 years ago and back then it was set up under my facebook account. I don't use the quest. This child is now 14 and just got the quest 3 and we don't want to set it up under my facebook/meta horizon account. Or I should restate, I would like to set up a teen account and transfer all the data/games from my account to his teen account. Is this possible? If so, how? I can only find a help article about giving an account to a child which doesn't have the best instructions and I'm guessing only applies to a child (10-12 year old). https://www.meta.com/help/quest/articles/accounts/account-settings-and-management/give-existing-meta...
If it is not possible to give my existing meta account to my teen, how can I turn my current account into a teen account and then create a new adult account that I can manage my old adult account that was changed to a teen account.
I had my child create a new teen account and it is connected in my family center, but that is as far as I have gotten.

Hey there, @OozVr. The transferring of a user account is against our terms of service. Users under the age of 13 are also not allowed to have their own account and can only have an account managed by a parent account. The article in question is for converting an account that is intended for users over the age of 13 to be converted into an account to be managed by a parent, and not for transferring an account from one user to another, as this is against our TOS.
We understand this is not the information you were looking for. However, purchases can still be used by other accounts using the app sharing feature.

Hello @OozVr !
We understand that you want to give your adult account to your teen. In this case, you cannot do that but what you can do is to create a new account for your teen and then transfer the games using app sharing. This can only be done if both of you are using the same device.
If you have more queries/concerns regarding this, please feel free to contact us.

You have instructions on how to pass an adult account into a child. See above link. Why not the same for a child? Can I create an account for a child that is one week away from turning a teen and be able to pass my account into them that way? And in a week it will be a teen account? If not, can you explain what the purpose of the article that linked above is for?

typo corrections from previous post: "You have instructions on how to pass an adult account onto a child. See above link. Why not the same for a teen?"
And I now see you have updated the linked article above to mention, "Some features aren't available to everyone at this time." I'd still like an explanation on what the point of that article is for if you can't pass/convert an adult account over to a child.
My teen isn't willing to lose 2.5 years worth of data and he had no way of having an account 2.5 years ago when we were forced to set it up/connect the account to a parent/facebook account. Meta needs to offer a way to transfer the account or convert it to a teen (or child account as the article states), so that they don't lose 2.5 years of data and friends etc...
