Glasses spacer for Quest 3 loose and wont function

No matter what I do, I can’t get the built in spacer to lock into place. The headset worked fine before I tried to pull them out. As soon as i did, now the entire thing is loose.

For the record, it’s just the right side. I was having problems with the left side as well but managed to lock it into place. The right side I’ve spent over an hour on and nothing.

After another hour or so of messing with it I believe I’ve fixed it. It’s a little wobbly but it’s locked into place
