Golf+ Audio stutters then cuts out every time

Hi, 

 

I just bought Golf+ and am having an issue where the audio almost immediately (at most a minute into loading) cuts out. I think it has something to do with any menu UI, as when I hover over different options sounds will begin to get choppy and stuttery, and then inevitably discontinue entirely. I can play the round fine, but there's no way that I know of to get the sound back.

 

I have an Oculus Rift S, with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X CPU & RTX 3080 Graphics card so I don't think it's my hardware that's causing the issue. Can anyone share any fixes or is this a known bug, etc?

Hi nikobaby123! We know how frustrating it can be when you get audio issues in your favorite games.

 

Is the audio loss happening in any other apps or only in Golf+?

 

You could try testing with headphones to see if the audio plays consistently or if it still cuts out.

 

Please also complete a Hard Reboot of the headset by:
 

  1. Hold down the power button and volume down button for 30 seconds until you hear the boot-up sound
  2. If the boot-up sound is not heard:
    1. Hold the power and volume (-) button down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
    2. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight "Boot Device" and press the power button.
    3. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.

Thanks for responding, but like I said I have a Rift S so I don't have those buttons on my headset. This only happens on Golf+

If all your other apps are fine then it would be best to reach out to the Developer Golf Scope Inc. on their Website to see if they can advise on a fix for your audio issues.
