Hey @NthHour. We understand how Golf+ not loading properly can be troubling when just you just want to golf within your own home. We know how fun that game is and not worry we'll do all that we can to get this right for you.
We see that you already tried rebooting the headset and that didn't help. We know you don't want to uninstall and reinstall the game, but that could just be the step needed to fix this. Can you please try that for us and get back to us with the results?

Hello @NthHour, I'm also having the same problem with GOLF+ getting stuck on the loading screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times now. I reached out to the GOLF+ developers via their DISCORD channel and they informed me that it is a problem associated with some of the files missing from the store during the downloading process and that is the reason why the game won't boot past the loading screen at startup. They said it is something that Meta needs to fix and that they have informed the Meta Store.

If you haven't already done some troubleshooting steps yourself, not to worry; we can help provide those steps right here for you. If you have taken some troubling steps on your end, then please let us know so we can further help you and get this resolved for you.
First things first We advise to uninstall the game first then redownload it and see if this will fix the issue.
Just to be on the safe side, we suggest you check your cloud backup before you uninstall and reinstall Golf +.
To find which of your downloaded apps are supported by cloud backup, as well as the last backup time and backup size,
Im having the issue, so I see the game is open on my PC. Perfectly fine, but when I put my headset on its in the Quest waiting area and says "Golf+ Loading" and it just hovers like that.
I have rebooted and reinstalled everything. All other games work however.
FOUND THE SOLUTION. In the meta app go to settings, General and set OpenXR Runtime make sure it says "Set Meta Quest Link as act" That will resolve it. Make sure in the Meta/Oculus PC app that the runtime is set to Meta, not Steam, in the Settings
