Gorilla Tag voice chat not working

So when I join gorilla tag it let's me join publics but then when I try and join codes it doesn't let me I looked it up to try to fix it but people are saying it happens because of parental controls but I don't have parental control that is cuz I am a parent heres a image of whats happening 

 that's me in a public and it won't let me join any codes I made a video of me trying to join a code but apparently I can't post videos

Typically its due to your meta account being set at 10 years or younger.

You will also notice in public lobbies that you only hear monkey sounds.
