Hey @Roseville14! It appears that after you install mods for Gorilla Tag, it will no longer open. We appreciate you trying a step on your own; it lets us know you're ahead of the game. We understand how this can affect your gameplay experience, and we would love to assist you with this.

So that we can better assist, please answer the following:

  • Are you having issues with any other apps or just Gorilla Tag?
  • Have you tried uninstalling mods?
  • Are you trying to play the game via standalone or PC?

We look forward to your response!

If what you are asking is if my account has developper mode activated, yes it does.

Thank you for that update! Since you're experiencing this when trying to play through the Quest Link app, we recommend performing a full uninstall/reinstall:

1. Disconnect the Link cable from the computer.
2. Disconnect your computer from the internet.
3. Backup any necessary content.
* You can find steps on how to do so here
4. Reboot into Safe Mode.
5. Uninstall Quest Link app using the Control Panel.
6. Delete all Oculus folders from the following folder:
* C:\Program Files
7. Remove any Oculus folders from the following locations:
* C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData
* C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Local
* C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\LocalLow
* C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Roaming
* C:\OculusSetup-DownloadCache
8. Restart your computer in normal mode.
9. Reconnect your computer to the internet.
10. Install Meta Quest Link app again using the setup tool from our website here
11. Reconnect the Link cable and re-test the headset.

Please let us know if this helps!

the only oculus folders i find are when my quest is connected to my pc

Thank you for the follow up. It's fine if you don't find data in those listed place, those are just possible places data could be stored. Were you able to successfully complete the steps provided and reinstall the app? If so is Gorilla Tag still not booting up? We're looking forward to hearing back from you on this.
