Guardian Floor Not Working Properly

Hello, when setting up a guardian on my quest 3, everything looks fine. I will press redo on the floor, and set it to the correct height, and it looks correct. But as soon as its done, in my home environment, my body will be in the floor. Like my headset knows where the floor is, but thinks my headset is touching the floor. When in a game, the exact same problem happens. I cant find anything online about this problem, anyone have a solution?

Hey there @Snowyybro! Thanks for reaching out! We understand that you're having some trouble with guardian not displaying properly. Getting lost in a virtual world is a lot cooler when you don't have to worry about walking into stuff, so let's get to the bottom of this! We've seen this issue before and would like to ask you a couple questions to assure we're not running in circles.

 

  • Are you using the headset in a well lit area? (Sometimes low light or dim locations can cause interference with guardian)
  • When these boundary issues start happening, how long have you continued to play with it like that? (Sometimes guardian snaps back after while of play, allowing it to recalibrate itself)
  • Have you updated your headset recently? (Sometimes being an update or two behind can cause guardian to not work properly)
