HMD Hardware error

This appears in the climb randomly. Sometimes I get over 30 minutes in, just I got less than 5 minutes in. Occasionally on other software the Oculus will seem to stop, restart and the application running will often need to be randomly restarted. This also happens using SteamVR however considering it happens on both I'm assuming it's something else.

I've tried with extension leads, without, I've unplugged my second monitor and set the 4k one only to 1080, I've ripped out a wireless card and another USB 3.0 card. All that's left inside this machine is the USB 3.0 card you recommended (and nothing else seems to work), a GTX 1080 and my Xbox Controller wireless thing plugged in. I'm using the touch with two cameras.

The setup I'm sending you is one where the game claimed the above after less than 5 minutes.

See the text document. What is happening here? I'm running Windows 7 because frankly I hated Windows 10.

Update
My drivers for the graphics card were on 372.90 released 21st Sep 2016. Updating to 376.33 14th Dec 2016 see if that helps.

Update:
It wasn't, still doing it.

having the same issue no response from oculus support yet

I think it's either HDMI or it switching to USB 2.0. What i might do is actually plug the headset into USB 2.0 so it can't confuse it then see if that stops it. I know I'll get worse tracking but I'm after less crashing.

Okay so I did two things, I plugged one of the sensors in a USB 3.0 port (well one Oculus says is), one in the front panel and the Oculus in the back panel. I read that spreading them out is apparently better. This seems to have worked been playing for 2 hours with no crashes even with extension on one of the sensors. Also tried in SteamVR, everything is fine. Anyone having this issue try it.

Think my long-term solution is getting two more smaller cards and plugging each item into a separate card to spread the load.
