Hello, II am writing to urgently request your assistance in recovering my accounts, which have been compromised. I am using my daughter’s Meta account to open this message since I cannot login into mine. Below is a detailed timeline of events:
December 7th: My account was compromised. I received an email notification to my email **@hotmail.com asking if I had changed the email addresses associated with my account. I immediately responded that I had not made any such changes. However, the hackers added two email addresses to my account: ***@yopmail.com and ***@gmail.com. And also changed my phone number.
December 7th–9th: the hackers enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) on my account, preventing me from logging in or reaching out to you directly through my account. Despite this, the account remained active.
December 9th: The hacker posted fraudulent content on my Facebook, pretending to be my uncle and offering items for sale. Several of my friends flagged the post as fraudulent, which then finally led to the suspension of my Facebook.
At this point, I reached out for support, and I was informed that someone would contact me to assist with resolving the issue. However, I have not received any follow-up or assistance.
Request:
I am desperately seeking help to:
Thank you for your time and assistance.

When my account was hacked I was able to restore after several times via the facebook.com/hacked webpage. Have you tried that?

Hello @jutempel ,
Recovering a compromised Facebook account can be a challenging process, but there are steps you can follow to try to regain access:
1. Use the Account Recovery Page: Visit https://www.facebook.com/hacked and https://www.facebook.com/login/identify This tool is designed specifically for situations where your account has been hacked. Follow the instructions to report unauthorized access.
2. Verify Ownership: Be prepared to verify your identity. Facebook may ask for a government-issued ID or other documents to confirm you are the rightful owner. Ensure your documents match the name and details on your account.
3. Check Email Recovery Options: Even if the hacker changed your email, Facebook may still send recovery emails to your original email address. Check your inbox and spam folder for any messages from Facebook.
4. Appeal the Suspension: If your account is suspended, submit an appeal by visiting the Help Center at https://www.facebook.com/help. Look for forms related to disabled accounts and provide as much detail as possible about your situation.
5. Contact Meta Support: If you haven’t already, try using Meta's Business Help Center to open a case(you will be able to get contact support if you are a meta business partner or if you have any verified assets) . It may take some time, but being persistent can help.
If you want to know more information about it feel free to reply me here.
Thanks
Mark Anthony

Hello, unfortunately for me to take these steps I have to login into my account, but I can’t. I would appreciate if someone could remove the hacker’s emails from both Meta and Facebook and disable the 2FA so I can use my accounts. I tried facebook.com/hacked webpage several times, but again , I cannot login.

Hello @jutempel ,
It possible to remove hacker email from your account if you can provide necessary information to support team.
Since if you cannot login on your account then you can use your friend or someone like your friend account to reached out to support team.

There has been a lot of hacking going on lately. Reddit has some extensive discussions about some of the problems and the things people have tried to get their accounts back.
Some users are also victimized a second time when sleazes PM them saying they can help by using their own Verified and/or business accounts, or even that they know someone at Meta who can fix it… all for a fee, of course. Be Careful!

Hi,
Recently my account got hacked, they setup 2 factor authentication and I'm not able to sign in to my account anymore. On the screen for filling in the 2FA code, I selected the other option for sending in ID card. Which was confirmed and I got an email with a code for logging in, which it says is a password, not a 2FA code.
If i click on the link, it still asks for 2FA.
Logging in with the code as password also does not bypass two factor authentication. I have gone through this circle several times with the same outcome. Now they do not accept my ID. Would be nice if there was an actual chat or phone number.
