Hacked instagram account

Hi, 

Someone has changed my email for my instgram account and password.

I am not longer able to log in. Although the account is still connected to my facebook account. It just says the instagram account is locked. 

When I click the link sent to my email to deny the change the link doesn't get me anywhere and all of the troubleshooting goes around in circles.

I would really appreciate some help and support in getting my instagram account back.

It might be best to try and get the account back bye asking for a account restore to look into your passwords (this would take a mod though) I don’t know if this works but it’s the only thing I can think of
