Has anyone ever had Meta Support actually resolve their issue?

Had a logged case for about 6 weeks, Provided all requested information and evidence 4 weeks ago.

Keep getting the same scripted 'its complex and we're working on it' BS.

Nothings been done. I doubt they're even reading my emails.

So, what else can we do around her to get a resolution?
Honestly cannot fathom how a company can be so huge with such disregard for its customers. maybe its time we all ditch this disgusting company, for good.

Honestly no, I have the water and debris issue with my quest and they not only didnt even make a public statement or any attempts to resolve it for the 4 weeks (that the issue existed) they only recently said that they were able to replicate the issue.
Meta seems to be a corpo that is just killing itself, and mark probably fired wrong people, the current QA and Dev team really needs complete changes because having a dead hardware device for 4 weeks that dosent work, I cant return or get any refund on is just horrible.

So in reality, no 99% of cases meta dosent do **bleep** but post ai generated responses

Unfortunately, no. They sent me a refurbished Q3 headset that will not move past the controller pair screen. I have 2 open tickets, zero responses for going on over a week for one ticket and several weeks for the other. I started a thread here and got a generic "we got your message!" and yet, still no response. Love spending $600 for a useless brick provided directly from Meta!

Feel your pain, I have just posted to forum too,  after being requested to send warranty information and sending 3 chaser emails, I have had no response for a month.

@BeauIVI  I've owned every Oculus/Meta headset over the last 6 years, starting with a Rift cv1 and I've never had any problems getting very good support.  Some issues, esp. ones on weekends, can take a couple more days but these usually get sorted out in 2-4 working days (working days = mon-fri).  I also have used the chat support option a few times and some things got sorted out immediately.

I suggest you try the chat support feature.  Also, it you go the email route allow for a day or two for a response.  If things seem to be dragging out, use the original support email and reply to it and ask what's holding things up.  Do not just open another support ticket because it can cause further delays, plus you may end up needing to supply information you have already provided.

In any case, good luck sorting out your issues mate and cheers.

I have not experienced at all. I had severe fan noise issue, they said it is normal. I replaced the headset at Mediamarkt, and the new headset has no noise at all, even you do not notice there is a fan. So they said in the first place it is perfectly normal, so how come second headset has no noise at all. Now I have heavy stutter issue no matter what I do, I did not get a solution at all. What I realized I spend way more time troubleshooting this device more than I enjoy. Besides all that I occasionally receive Liquid/Debris warning on my USB port. I am selling my device, I am done.

Same.  Repeated responses and requests for infomation.  Only delays a solution and then the product becomes out of warranty because time wasted on repeated emails for 20 different agents.  I will never ever recommend or buy Meta products again.  This has been a 6 MONTH problem!  I'm contemplated legal action

Contacted support via forum and have now had issue resolved by John, new batteries received within 3 days and apology for no response to emails which had all been linked to same thread.

Value in contacting support via forum.
