Have Go, can’t travel

I bought the Oculus Go in the US, but spend most of my time abroad. After a month the controller wouldn’t connect, a rather frequent problem. Now, I know that there is no support for Oculus products in the country I’m in.
Decent companies that sell mobile products offer a world wide warranty, but Oculus is not one of them. So I sent an email to the US Oculus support, mentioning that I could return the product there.
When they figured out that I was not living in the US, they wouldn’t even talk to me!
Here’s what they answered me:
While I understand that you ordered the headset while you were in the US and have an address that you use in the states, If we have reason to believe that the headset will be taken out of a supported country we would be unable to facilitate a replacement for the headset.”
So, they will void the warranty if I take their product out of the country!

After about 5 years on here, I have come to the conclusion that some people just want to test the Oculus support and return policy.
Big PC, all the headsets, now using Quest 3

What the support agent is saying that they won't be able to ship a replacement to anywhere but the address you ordered the GO originally and NOT that the warranty is void if you travel with it.

No, I was quite aware that they would not ship it to the country I’m in. To quote from my mail: “Anyway, I’ll be back in the US in October and can ship it to you then. Please give me an RMA number and indicate if you need just the controller or the whole headset.”
