Having issues with the Quest Link app itself.

Games run fine when running only on the headset, but as soon as I try connecting to my Laptop, the Quest 3 cant handle it. Ive tried Airlink, Quest Link via Cable, a dedicated router, Steam VR and Virtual Desktop. All of these were very laggy to some degree. Some games are okay if I go straight through Steam VR, but the apps themselves are horribly laggy, and the desktop is always blacked out on the Quest Link. I want to focus on fixing the Quest Link via cable first.

I tried adding OVRServer and placing it on Power Saving, but the Desktop remains black, and the App horribly laggy.

I ran the cable test and got a cool 2.5 Gs, and tried changing the Encode Bitrate from the debugger to match, which helped some with the lag, but it still tears horribly, and still has latency issues, but now everything is pixilated too. And the desktop is still black.

Laptop specs:

AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS with Radeon Graphics 3.30 GHz 

NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3070 GPU

16 GBs of Ram

SS10 USB port.

Cool laptop specs! Definitely within the recommended specifications of PCVR.

There might be some possible things causing the issue of why the Quest Link App isn't working properly:

1. You could try to ensure that the RTX 3070 is selected as the main graphics card and not the Ryzen iGpu.
2. You could update the RTX 3070 Drivers to the latest version -> NVIDIA Drivers
3. You could update the Quest Link App to the latest software version.
