Hey all!
I have had my meta quest 2 for over a year now and I have been using it almost every day. I have been noticing that the tracking for the controllers has been off a lot lately (especially in fast paced game like beat saber). It seems to be getting worse the more I play and I am curious if there is some setting I need to change to improve tracking performance, or my controllers and headset cameras are damaged. I will admit that I have dropped the controllers a few times but no visible damage was caused. My room is well light and I have no mirrors.
What I have tried:
Set tracking frequency to 60Hz (I head this is supposed to help)
Reset play area history
Cleaned the 4 cameras with 99% alcohol and Q-tip
Wiped the controller and rings with damp microfiber cloth
Charged the batteries in the controllers (I use energizer rechargeable batteries)
Use a mix of natural sunlight, house light, and IR lighting (This seems to help a little)
If this is a hardware issue from damaged cameras or controllers, does the meta quest 3 have better tracking? Are there any options for a lighthouse tracking system to be added to any meta headsets? Wondering in case I have to get a new headset.

Hey there @MasonatorGator55,
We have a few suggestions that you can try.
You'll want to ensure there is no direct sunlight in the room - as well as affecting tracking, this can damage your headset.
It could also help to ensure there are no reflective surfaces such as mirrors or glass in your play area which could interfere with tracking.
You didn't mention if you had tried unpairing and re-pairing your controllers, so here's a guide for trying that too.

Thanks for the recommendations.
I will make sure to close my blinds the next time I play. I will also try to re-pair the controllers as well.
I will report back in a few days about the tracking.

I think I may have found the issue.
I started playing in a different room with a lot more space and the tracking works significantly better now. The room before didn't have a lot of play space with all of the furniture. I also closed the blinds when I played too, that may also have helped too.
