I recently (in the past week) updated the software on both my wife's headset and my own. Since the update, I've noticed that when the headsets are plugged in to charge, they are not achieving the green "fully charged" status. They appear to be charging to about 95-97% and then stopping. I left my wife's headset plugged in to the charger overnight, and when I plugged it in it was only down to about 82%. 8 hours later it was at 97%. Today, when I plugged my headset in, it was at the mid-80's % charged, and 5 hours later it was at 95%. This is a new phenomenon. Prior to the update both headsets charged to 100%. Is this fixable?

Heya @ProudMurican. We totally understand how your headsets not charging properly can be a problem. Not to worry though, we are going to look into this and see what's going on. Can you please tell us what headset update you're currently on? We did recently put out v55 for some people, so we just want to make sure that update isn't causing this. We would also like for you to make sure you have Cloud Backup enabled on both headsets and then perform a Factory Reset on the headsets.

Hi! Thank you for the quick response. My headset software version starts with 50 and ends in 150. The “Version” and “Runtime version” numbers both start with 54. Cloud backup is turned on for both headsets. I really don’t want to do a factory reset unless you really think it is necessary, due to the number of apps I have installed (96). Do you think that doing one is essential?

Hey there, @ProudMurican! Thank you for getting back to us. We understand your hesitancy about resetting your headset, but not to worry! Your games will be saved to your account, so when you perform a factory reset on your headset, all you need to do after you set up your account on your headset is download them again from your account to your library.
If you have the Cloud Backup enabled, it will allow you to save the data for some of your games and apps before you reset your headset. It is normally always on, but it's always good to double-check our headset just in case. We would be happy to provide you with this link, which offers more details about the cloud backup.
We would also be happy to provide you with this link, which offers different steps on how to successfully reset your headset.
Please let us know if the reset was able to assist you with fully charging your headset!
