Headset does not recognise play area

Everytime I tweak the software and put the headset back on it says it, does not recognise the play area? I have to then run through the set up again.

Hiya! We notice that you are experiencing Guardian problems, which is not the kind of encounter we want you to have. We want to make sure you can resume enjoying your breathtaking VR environment! But no need to worry we're here to help!

 

Please go ahead and try these steps:

  • Press on the Oculus button on the right controller to pull up the Universal Settings.
  • Then hover over the clock that is on the left side of the menu. Next press on Quick Settings and open the panel.
  • Select Guardians.
  • Finally select Stationary or Roomscale and follow the instructions to get Guardian set.
