Headset switching between Passthrough and Virtual environment/Spatial videos folder missing

Hi,

since v62 I have a weird issue. When I take off my Quest 3 it automatically changes the passthrough mode to the virtual environment. And when I put it on again I can shortly see the virtual environment before it changes to passthrough mode again. But then the UI is in strange positions for example somewhere on the ground.

Restarting the headset didn't help so far.

 

Also I don't have any spatial videos in the files app. The should be some demo files but there is even no spatial video folder.

I don’t see the spatial videos folder either. I also don’t have an upload button in the Meta Quest mobile app to transfer my own videos.

Hey guys. The UI being stuck sounds like it can get pretty annoying really quickly. If anyone could provide a video of this happening as well as a screenshot for the missing spatial videos folder I'd really appreciate it. Any thing showing these errors in action would be a great help. Thanks!

I’ll have to get a screenshot from the Quest tomorrow, but there are no errors. It’s just that there’s no spatial  video folder like the release notes describe.

I’ve confirmed there are no meta app updates in the App Store and that the quest is on v62.

Today in the morning my UI was even in another room somewhere on the ground. It was outside my room setup and my guardian boundaries, so I had to recenter again. I deleted the room setup yesterday and made a new one but unfortunately it didn't help.

So far the update just introduced problems I never had before. At least I can recenter the view otherwise I would have to play hide and seek with the menu bar in my home. Maybe this is some sort of a new game...?

Today I did a full factory reset. Unfortunately it didn't change anything. Same problems with the passthrough/virtual environment switching, UI still somewhere on the ground or in other rooms outside the guardian after putting on the headset, no spatial videos folder in the files app, chromatic aberration on the edges of the screen/lenses.

The v62 update is a total mess and doesn't give me a good feeling when I want to return to VR.
