Beginning Android 14, Google is moving their Health Connect Google Play app into a native system built-in app. This has caused the Meta Quest app to stop being able to sync data to Health Connect. Most other health apps have already had updates to adjust for this change, but the Meta Quest app still hasn't received an update to solve this.
I'm running the One UI 6 Beta 2 (Android 14) and I cannot get Health Connect set up with the Oculus app because I receive a message stating that the Meta Quest app must be updated to continue integrating with Health Connect.
Hope you can solve this ASAP as I want to sync my Quest Move data again. 🙂

Can you give us any update on this? This is such a simple thing to fix and another month has gone by without a fix for a Android system change that was announced well in advance.

Hey, is there any update for this? It has been almost a whole 2 months and nothing has been done or communicated. This isn't acceptable for a company at the scale of Meta, I mean the company literally makes software exclusively (excluding VR).... I don't get it, Android published information about this months in advance, even long before the Android 14 beta, yet nothing was done and still hasn't been done to fix such a simple bug. It's even more frustrating because of how easy this is to fix, yet it hasn't been done. It would be appreciated if someone could bump this issue as this is a game-breaker for ALL Android users (which is probably an overwhelming proportion of your customers...)

Meta seems to be behaving like children in the fog. When I reported this problem on Google Play Store (topic Android app), I received a very limited response from devs to ask on Meta Support 😂🤣. They simply ignore the problem and don't seem to take any actions to resolve it.
A similar situation occurred with my Elite Strap with Battery for Meta Quest 3. After reporting the issue, for two weeks, they tried to convince me that they would send a new piece. However, after asking again, they admitted to encountering problems, and the replacement will take another 4 weeks. This is entirely incomprehensible and unacceptable to me.
I am concerned about how Meta treats its customers and addresses issues. It's just pathetic customer support. I hope others will also share their experiences, maybe together, we can bring attention to these matters.

Could you kindly decline that solution?

I'm on a Pixel 7 with Android 14, hadset is a Meta Quest 2 and Meta App version 244.0.0.4.117
This is really sloppy software support. If Meta really does want to enter the hardware space, they need to have issues like this fixed in the next monthy OS update from the time it was brought to their attention. Making sure OS software has feature breaking bugs and instabilities addressed ASAP should be a priority. Otherwise this Meta VR hardware venture is going to end up like Amazon's many failed attempts at entering the mobile hardware space rather than a success like Apple. Even Google and Microsoft manage to fix issues like this within 30 days of coming to their attention.

Still needs to be fixed

Any update on this?

In the latest version of the Meta Quest app for Android I received yesterday, the Move widget is now gone and there appears to be no way to even attempt to link with Health Connect anymore.
Guess that's one way to handle it.

Oof that sounds pretty bad. There's no update available for me yet but I guess it's no wonder the Oculus App has 2.2 stars in the Play Store ... the automated reply for 1 Star ratings to use the support website surely doesn't help either.
